Podium discussion „strong women – strong economy”

Bamberg – more and more women are taking on important positions in the economy. Even with all the political efforts, there are still noticeably few women in leading positions. At the podium, the federation of the independent Bavaria discussed possible causes and solutions.
Our CEO Barbara Bazalinska was invited to the podium discussion as a guest and could talk about her experience in the vehicle construction industry, which is dominated by men. It was possible to follow the event online and Mischa Salzmann from Radio Bamberg moderated the podium.
An important question of the evening was, if women still sell themselves short – specifically in economic concerns – or, if it has changed over the years. Another topic was the women quota, as well as the general role of women in the economy. The parliamentary state secretary in the German federal ministry of labour and social affairs, Anette Kramme was at the event as well and shared her experiences and know-how about the topic.
